Jasper
Jasper is extremely common in Michigan and can be found almost anywhere. It has a reddish brown hue. As with most minerals in Michigan, lakeshores are the easiest areas to spot Jasper. Jaspilite is red Jasper banded with grey Hematite and was formed in earth's early oceans.
